About fifteen minutes after I spill a bunch of Dr Pepper on myself I get this:
Dear Jake:

My owner has indicated that he wants to see Friday night reserved for acts that have a much stronger local following but he is not averse to the Killdevils continuing to play here on occasional Sunday afternoons. Regretfully, I have to withdraw my offer to allow you stage time on Friday, March 11, 2005.

My best wishes to you in all that you do.
What a sucky, sucky day today has been.
