music/John Brunner/podcasting

Hey, I'm actually going to put something out on my podcast after work today! Yay!

But that's not what this post is about. See, I recently read this collection of John Brunner stories called The Book of John Brunner, and among other oddities it contains a bunch of folk songs he wrote with science-fiction-y themes! and it includes sheet music!

So clearly I should record some of these. The question is, which? The options are:

Which John Brunner-penned folk song should I record?

Lullaby for the Mad Scientist's Daughter: "Hush, little baby, button your lip/Papa gonna build you a rocket ship" (to the tune of "Hush, Little Baby")
The Ballad of Teddy Hart: "Long before Mrs Hart knew that Ted was on the way/It was nine months before he was born/When his genes got tangled by a lucky cosmic ray/And that's why a spaceman came along!" (to the tune of "Jesse James")
Faithless Jack the Spaceman: "Sing I for an interstellar ship be it rusty red as Mars/A cyborg crew and computers too to carry me to the stars" (to the tune of "Ten Thousand Miles Away")
The Spacewreck of the Old 97: "They gave him his orders at the satellite station/Sayin', 'Steve, here's the course that you must use!" (to the tune of "The Wreck of the Old 97")
The H-Bombs' Thunder: "Don't you hear the H-bombs' thunder/Echo like the crack of doom?/While the rend the skies asunder/Foll-out makes the earth a tomb." (to the tune of "Life Is Like A Mountain Railway")

The book also contains a crossword puzzle. Also, one of the essays contains the word 'muggles'.
