(Tomorrow's post: Curse you, regular expressions, for allowing me to unleash my stupidty.)
That isn't enough for an entire post, so maybe I will take the opportunity to mention the status of a few other things.
Health: I am declaring myself healthy again. I think I was basically over the original illness sometime Friday, and at that point just had to cope with the fact that I hadn't eaten much of anything in a couple of days, and had a totally bizarre sleep schedule, and suchlike. But all is back to normal now and I should be out and about as normal this week.
Anthologies: You may recall that I claimed I was going to read a half-dozen science fiction anthologies. (If you haven't yet, don't forget to vote!) I got through the Baen anthology quickly, read a chunk of Crank!, then got bogged down in a bunch of magazines. (My mother got me a subscription to The Economist for Christmas, which added to The New Yorker, Harper's, Eating Well, and Asimov's ...) But I caught up on my New Yorkers, have temporarily decided to ignore the others, and finished reading Crank! today. Onward to Women of Wonder!
I noticed today that the first three anthologies all have stories by Ursula K. LeGuin. This makes sense, as is the fact that she doesn't appear in any of the other three anthologies, I guess.
Ancient history: I stumbled across this article about my mother a little while ago. I last linked to it a little over a year ago, and it's pretty entertaining, so I thought I'd link to it again for anyone new to my LJ.
Knitting: Ha, as if this isn't all too well documented already in my livejournal. Actually, I just put this here to ask if anyone actually made it to SNB last week, and if so, who?
