Videos

A few weeks ago I mentioned that I might be able to get videos of some of my performances at the Empire Revue. Last night Pete Ricci, who tapes the shows, gave me a CD with the videos, and I've now uploaded them to YouTube. Enjoy!

I'm a Guy:

Keith had asked me if I'd be interested in having the Superchief Trio back me up on a song during the Revue, and I had been thinking about asking them to back me up on this song for a while, so it worked out great!

Avocados and Beer:

My accordion song, originally written for saucypunk. Contains numerous mistakes, but oh well!

"Pumpkin, Mrs. Farnsworth":

Lyrics by mckcb. The Superchief Trio does a nifty job accompanying me. I make an egregious technical error but it doesn't matter too much.

Both this video and the next were from the February show.

The Ballad of the Eire Canal:

Lyrics by Ranjit Bhatnagar, melody by swt. I was deathly afraid that people weren't going to get the joke, so I explained it extensively in the introduction, which is the best way to tell a joke. I skipped the third verse (which describes the completion of the canal) and screwed up the fourth verse, but people enjoyed it anyway. (At the time I could feel my voice start to go, but now that I see the video it's not as evident as I feared.)
