knitting frenzy

I had lunch with some friends today at 1 pm, so I wanted to have their Christmas presents, a pair of knitted ponchos, finished by then. For the final push I stayed up until 6 am last night knitting and watching episodes of Futurama. Then I went to bed for a couple of hours, got up at 8:30 am, and continued to work on it as my work schedule allowed.

I finished knitting the second poncho at 12:55 pm.

I don't guess this is a tribute to much of anything other than dumb luck, but anyway the ponchos turned out pretty nice (I made them using a Colinette kit I bought from killerwolf a couple of months back). I probably don't need to watch any more Futurama for a while, though.
